Direct from 5,000 smallholder farmers

We source nut-in-shell macadamia from smallholder farmers and five farmer cooperatives in Nyeri, Kirinyaga and Embu counties. We buy every nut 16mm and above — including sizes other processors reject — at fair, transparent prices, with digital traceability replacing broker-dependent sales.

Circular economy

Shells to soil

Around 75% of every nut-in-shell becomes by-product after processing: about 70% shell and 5% Grade B kernels. We put it to work.

Biochar — restoring acidic soils

Years of synthetic fertiliser use have left many soils acidic, especially in coffee and maize intercropping. Our biochar is positioned as a substitute for synthetic lime, starting with coffee farmers — many of whom also grow macadamia on the same land. An enhanced-biochar-versus-liming viability assessment is under way.

Our goalRepurpose 100% of operational waste — shells into biochar and carbon credits, Grade B kernels into feed — closing the loop back to the farm.
